As a Master Mechanic you are an essential part of the growth and continuity of Swapfiets. Besides being an expert in bicycle repairs, you are also the one who can make a team work together perfectly. Overview and technical knowledge are your top priority. You also see cycling as the solution for a sustainable future.

As our Master Mechanic you are mainly involved in challenging and complex repairs of city bicycles and e-bikes. You know how to find the right solution time and time again and you train our other mechanics in your way of work. You are able to identify frequently recurring problems and you will be in close contact with our head office for any adjustments.

Your responsibilities:

You will become mechanic team Instructor and will share your knowledge;

You will be responsible for repairing, checking, and fixing Bike/Light-Electric-Vehicles following Swapfiets standards

You will preparing new Bike/Light-Electric-Vehicles to make them roadworthy;

You will train Bike/Light-Electric-Vehicle mechanic and support new colleagues in the team;

You are responsible for giving input on the training for the Global Head Mechanic;

You will handle special case Bike/Light-Electric-Vehicles;

Make technical drawings .

Your profile:

You are a certified bicycle mechanic / bicycle repairman or car mechanic (MBO), although experience and craftsmanship are more important;

You have affinity with bikes and service;

You have an affinity with cycling, mobility, sustainability and service;

You speak Dutch and basic English;

You are available full time (or at least 0.8 FTE);

There is no bike you can not fix!

A salary between €2190 - €2365 excl. Holiday allowance based on your level of experience;
