Hobson Prior are looking for a Medical Therapeutic Area Lead to join a fantastic pharmaceutical company on a permanent basis where you will be based in the Netherlands, but our client will also consider those based in Belgium. For more information, please get in touch now!

*Key Responsibilities: *

* In this role, you will be leading 2 Medical Advisors covering the Benelux region.
* Taking the Neurology TA forward for the client.
* 1 product to launch in early 2022 with more products in the pipeline.
* Operational and strategy role.
* Creating the Medical Affairs plan for the team.
* Line management of the team.
* Working Cross functional in the region.
* In this exciting role, you will manage the Benelux Medical Affairs team.
* You will be the proactive strategic partner within the Cluster Value Team (CVT) for medical excellence.
* You will act as a bridge between the Benelux Medical Affairs Team and the EMEA Medical Affairs organisation.

*Requirements: *

* Scientific degree: Medical Doctor, pharmaceutical or biomedical degree or equivalent by experience.
* More than 4 years' experience within Medical Affairs in the pharmaceutical industry.
* Leadership experience in managing teams and business operations.
* Proven strong analytical, communication, influencing, decision-making and leadership skills for interaction with external and internal stakeholders.
* Conceptual skills: able to have an integral view across different disciplines within the medical domain for neuroscience.
* People management and team leadership skills: stimulate and motivate to develop and execute medical excellence and medical leadership.
* Languages: Dutch, English: spoken & written; basic French.
* Experience in managing professionals in the pharmaceutical or related industries.
* Preferred Business acumen and relevant experience/training in business administration for translation into strategy.
* Deep knowledge of Neuroscience.
* Understanding of Clinical Study operations.
