Job description

Due to our rapid expansion across the globe, we have several positions available within our Amsterdam 3PL team, one of which is a Warehouse Team Leader. This role is pivotal to the daily efficiency of managing picking and packing of orders destined for B2C clients across Europe.Working directly for the Operations Manager this position will support all activities from inbound through to completion of orders. This is an ideal position for someone who is wanting to move into a Operations Manager role in the future.Working Hours: 40 hours per week. Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 (these hours can differ)Main Purpose of Job:Leading a team of warehouse employeesSupporting and sometimes managing start-up meetingsAssisting with planning daily workloads.Measuring and checking all operational procedures in place are being followedMonitoring accuracy and organisation during unloading/inspection of all inbound goods.Supervising picking and checking process for accuracy and to ensure all customers orders are fulfilled on timeMaintaining company health and safety policy and proceduresAssisting in training new and casual employeesAsisting in stock control and stock managemenExperience and Skills RequiredExperience in leading a team in a warehousing and logistics environmentReachtruck license requiredGood attention to detailGood verbal and written communication skillsFluent Dutch and good EnglishA team player with a positive attitude towards the customer, work, and staff.Knowledge and experience of health and safety principlesProactive with an eye for problem solving and improvementKnowledge of WMS systemsPC skills, Microsoft officeWhat I am personally looking for:Somebody who can work self sufficiently, gets stuff done, has a hands-on mentality and positive energy.Expected start date: as soon as possible
