Human Resources Manager

Delta Energy is a renewable chemical company that uses proprietary technology to convert end-of-life tires into specialty oils and recovered carbon black. Delta Energy provides a true circular solution to the tire and rubber industries. Delta-Energy is seeking a talented Human Resources Manager to lead the people processes in the company. The position will report to the CEO.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Partner closely with the CEO and Plant Manager to increase the effectiveness of the organization and improve workforce retention.

· Lead HR programs and initiatives.

· Provide coaching to all members of the management team including the CEO.

· Train managers as needed regarding interview skills, performance appraisals, counseling techniques, or documentation of performance issues.

· Support line managers to implement a fair and consistent process of discipline and corrective action. Conduct employee relation investigations, if needed.

· Lead the recruitment process by identifying candidates, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and issuing offer letters. Coordinate with Win Job Center for recruiting, assessment testing, and reimbursement programs. Conduct onboarding and offboarding.

· Administer payroll and other company benefit programs for 55+ employees. Ensure proper documentation in HR systems so that employee databases are accurate.

· Ensure organizational awareness of appropriate HR policies, programs, procedures, and expectations. Maintain and update Employee Handbook.

· Coordinate employee training and development programs as defined by the training matrix. Manage training records for personnel.

· Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.

· Participate on the Leadership Team for Delta Energy.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines.

· Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office

· Proficient use of online recruiting tools such as Indeed, LinkedIn, and ZipRecruiter

QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's Degree

· Ten (10) years of human resources experience in an industrial company

· Experience in employee relations, HR compliance, workplace concerns, performance management, HR programs, and manager consultations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
