Job Description

PLEASE NOTE: While we are currently fully remote, we anticipate a hybrid return-to-office in early 2022. Because of this, only candidates local to Detroit or Miami are currently being considered.

Razorfish is looking to hire an Associate Project Manager to support digital creative and technical project work within the platform team for one of our largest clients.

In this role, you will need to be equal parts planner, problem solver, analytical thinker, client relationship builder, and cat herder. You will leverage your understanding of different project management methodologies as well as your ability to identify and resolve issues, develop detailed work plans & specifications.

Specific responsibilities include:

* Working closely with geographically-distributed cross-disciplinary teams and clients to drive digital and technical solutions that are delivered on-time and on-budget without compromising quality.
* Predicting client/customer needs and developing and executing project plans that ensure the efficient delivery of complex UX, digital, platform, AEM content migration, and/or similar technical projects within an agile environment.
* Building relationships and driving team collaboration.

* You have excellent verbal & written communication skills.
* You have a deep understanding of project management tools and methodologies. Obviously.
* You thrive in a fast-paced environment and know how to adapt your approach when working with people from different disciplines (technology, creative, data, strategy and marketing engagement).

Qualifications

* 2-4 years of professional experience managing digital creative or technical projects within an advertising agency or consulting firm
* Understanding of different project management methodologies including the ability to identify / resolve issues, develop detailed work plans & specifications, perform resource allocations and run team meetings
* Strong knowledge of software and product development life cycles, web technologies, web development processes, and the delivery of multi-disciplinary solutions
* Prior experience leading projects in an agile environment
* Experience working with projects built on the AEM platform is a plus
* Highly collaborative, confident work style with an extraordinary attention to detail
* Ability to take complex issues or situations and present them in a simple and easy to follow manner
* Ability to provide and receive feedback in a constructive manner
* Develop and maintain all project deliverables including project charters, budgets, project plans, risk/issues logs, project dashboards/management reports, change orders, and other documentation
* Drive project delivery through the effective use of internal and external meetings
* Manage and control project scope and the change control process
* Ensure that projects are delivered according to schedule and within budget
* Demonstrated ability to assume a leadership role in identifying and resolving project related risks
* Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, influencing, facilitation, organizational, prioritization, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills
* Successful history of client contact including experience in setting and managing client expectations
* Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent presentation skills
