Job description

Overview

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

Business Requirements

  • Lead requirements meetings
  • Working with Product Owners/Project Sponsors and other stakeholders to define business needs
  • Ensure the requirements match the approved scope of the project

User Acceptance Testing (When Applicable)
  • Define the test plan
  • Document test scenarios and test scripts
  • Manage the customer through the UAT process
  • Driving the UAT process to completion

Communication
  • Facilitate team and customer meetings effectively as required
  • Attend project team meetings, agile team ceremonies, PMO meetings
  • Effectively communicate & escalate relevant project information to IT leadership

Technical Understanding
  • Possess general understanding in the areas of application programming and Agile software development methodologies
  • Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies
  • Possess a thorough understanding of information technology capabilities
  • Be proficient in process flow documentation

Client Management
  • Develop lasting business relationships with client personnel
  • Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions
  • Build a knowledge base of each client's systems, key processes, business, organization and objectives


Specific Job Skills and Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or Project Manager in an IT environment
  • Experience contributing as part of an Agile, Scrum team
  • International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) certification a plus
  • Experience building test scripts and/or test plans required
  • Experience with MS Project, Visio and Word
  • Experience with process mapping and prototyping design.
  • Relevant certification or advanced degrees a plus
  • Proven ability to manage key stakeholders while managing completing priorities
  • Strong leadership skills including conflict/issue resolution
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written at all levels
  • Ability to work effectively with project resources across multiple departments
  • Knowledge of the ServiceNow PPM module is a plus


Education:

Bachelor's degree or significant business requirements experience required

Required Skills : Mock up and Wireframes experience with revenue cycle accounting is a plus
