Summary of Duties

Promotes growth of Hospital Division through development and implementation of marketing and sales strategies. Establishes and maintains relationships with referral sources. Provides marketing and referral development oversight. Recruits and provides direction and leadership to the Clinical Marketing Liaisons.

Essential Job Functions

* Develops or assists in the development, implementation and review of personal sales strategies as part of the marketing planning process to increase census volumes and generate additional referrals.
* Assists in the development of marketing materials and collaterals to include all forms of media,
* Markets services to physicians, case managers, discharge planners, home health agencies, prospective patients, residents, and other target groups according to the marketing plan(s).
* Establishes and maintains relationships with referral sources as a resource for patient continuum of care healthcare needs and census development.
* Develops comprehensive educational services to support presentation of Noland Health Services to physicians, healthcare providers, and community groups.
* Makes personal and telephone contacts for the purpose of surveying interest levels, gathering information, developing referral sources, and selling services.
* Conducts presentations of services to healthcare providers, community groups, potential patients, and residents.
* Develops and generates sales and marketing reports as directed by the Vice President-Hospital Division.
* Establishes and maintains referral source profiles through a database-tracking program, keeping thorough records on all sales activity.
* Provides accurate information on product services and reimbursement terms to customers.
* Communicates concerns, market information, information on competition, and gives negative and positive feedback from referral sources to Vice President-Hospital Division and Administrators.
* Coordinates marketing sales efforts with facility Clinical Marketing Liaison and/or Administrator.
* Provides input regarding the need for marketing support materials, marketing budget, etc.
* Participates in special projects as directed.
* Participates in hospital marketing meetings.
* Serves as interim Clinical Marketing Liaison on as needed basis.

Education

BA in business or related field and/or clinical license (RN, RT, PT, OTR, CCC). Masters preferred.

Experience

Minimum of three (3) years experience in health care sales or referral development environment with at least two (2) years supervisory experience and one (1) year hospital marketing experience required.

Physical Requirements for Essential Job Functions

* Must be able to walk, sit, or stand intermittently throughout the workday.
* Must be able to work with hands and fingers throughout the workday.
* Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable senses to function adequately so that requirements of the position can be fully met.
