JOB DESCRIPTION

This role reports to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and is responsible for assisting the HR Team in managing the recruiting aspect of all organizational needs. Our Staff is our most valuable resource, and this position is tasked with its care and ability to find high quality candidates through multiple sources. Just getting the job done is not enough.
Our HR Department must go above and beyond to curate and develop a best-in-breed workforce that excels in everything they do for our program-members and community.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Recruiting: Manage the entire hiring cycle from receiving a 'Request to Recruit' form/email, to internal/external job postings, and through Orientation for all OSBI (AZ + CA) locations. Identify and execute on creative strategies for solving recruiting challenges, ensuring that no position remains unfilled for more than 2mos.
  • Ongoing Maintenance: Successfully assist HR Team with ongoing support within multiple job boards (i.e. Indeed, JazzHR, etc.). Primary contact for Supervisor+ in regard to quality assurance and concerns and assistance.
  • Review and analyze resumes for all position posted to identify quality and validity of candidate information.
  • Identify trends in recruitment needs, candidate flow and job descriptions for most efficient and effective hiring efforts.
  • Candidate & Employee Diligence, Compliance, and Reporting: Pro-actively collaborate with Compliance and HR teams to complete MVR, reference calls and Central Registry background checks for new hires.
  • Personnel Files: Pro-actively collaborate with co-workers across the organization to collect and assemble all required paperwork for OSBI's confidential personnel files. Maintain same in 100% audit-ready order and condition at all times.
  • Cloud & Digital Assets Management: Ensure that all personnel information (ex. as described above) are concurrently up to date in digital form on OSBI's cloud.
  • Project a helpful, professional, knowledgeable, and capable image for the HR department that is consistent with the OSBI mission.
  • Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in business/HR strongly preferred.
  • 3-5 years professional experience in an administrative role/Human Resources/Sales strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with online job board/hiring platforms such as Indeed.com, ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure, maintain deadlines and work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and computer skills.
  • Experience working or interacting with a vulnerable population required.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Excel and Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Basic knowledge and experience with cloud computing systems (esp. Box.com) preferred.
  • Handle difficult situations with a positive attitude by actively seeking problem resolution, brainstorming creative solutions, and identifying opportunities for department and organizational enhancements.
  • Hybrid position: eligible for 70% work-from-home, 30% in-office at our Glendale, AZ location and/or San Mateo, CA location.
