Seeking a short-term contract / temporary position? Robert Half is doing the hiring process for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk for a rapidly-expanding company. Updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, processing checks, processing expense reports, resolving A/P issues, and matching, batching, and coding invoices are just a few of the responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk. We seek out ambitious professionals who are creators, leaders, and pioneers. This Accounts Payable Clerk role will be located in the Mesa, Arizona area and will be a short-term contract / temporary position.

+ Remote Position - First two weeks of training in office

+ Contract Time Frame - 3 months

What you get to do every single day

- Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them

- Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department

- Provide internal and external audit assistance as required

- Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail

- Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs

- Accomplish full-cycle A/P

- Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling

- Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies

- Execute additional tasks as needed

Requirements - Competent with spreadsheets and databases

- High attention to detail

- Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds

- Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired

- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
