We are seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join our lean and agile team in our Mesa, Arizona facility, located at 7943, East Ray Rd. Suite #129, Mesa, AZ 85212. This role reports the Director of Human Resources and is to assist with the day to day administration of the Human Resources Department.

Duties & Responsibilities:

General Requirements

  • Act as point of contact for HR related inquiries.
  • Deliver new hire orientation training where required.
  • Prepare employment agreements to be review by your manager.
  • Maintain the hard copy and electronic copy of employee files.
  • Assist with payroll preparation, partnering with the finance team to make sure all information is correct before issuing payroll.
  • Assist with the creation of company policies.

Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Assess and send for approval any recruitment requests.
  • Prepare and post job postings through our HRIS.
  • Review candidates, shortlisting candidates for hiring manager review.
  • Conduct phone or video interviews to prescreen shortlisted candidates.
  • Schedule interviews between candidates and hiring manager.
  • Working with your manager, prepare interview guides for managers.
  • Prepare prescreen templates for recruiting purposes.

HRIS Management
  • Manage the administration of the company's human resource information system (HRIS).
  • Troubleshoot any problems with the HRIS.
  • Maintain the information kept within the HRIS, following strict confidentiality.
  • Perform information audits to ensure information changes are logged into the HRIS and updated on a timely matter.

Other Duties
  • Assist with HR projects as required.
  • Other duties as required and assigned by management


Requirements

  • Human Resources Business Degree is required.
  • Administration experience an asset.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office.
  • Understanding of Labour laws required.
