We are currently seeking a Service Center Recruiter to join our team. You will be responsible for staffing, training and managing a compliant campus Admissions Team by facilitating the selection and enrollment of qualified student applicants for school admission. This position will be responsible for independently researching, developing, and implementing the Service Center's recruitment and staffing strategies in order to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Independently develop recruitment and staffing strategies for service center verticals like Admissions, Student Finance, Registrar, Collections and Student Services.
  • Build applicant sources through significant independent research and development of relationships with identified referral network resources.
  • Work alongside temp agencies to find candidates for open positions
  • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process with temp agencies, including maintain relationships with the temp agencies and developing new relationships with new agencies
  • Collaborates with department managers for onboarding of new colleagues and to ensure new reps know their goals and job duties
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on each individual role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization
  • Assists with job posting and advertisement processes
  • Screen applications, select qualified candidates, complete reference checks for candidates for managers and above
  • Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of group interview questions tailored to the position and other hiring and selection materials
  • Assists and oversees with the group and 1-1 interview process
  • Ensure all open positions are filled at all times
  • Have a strong bench of candidates available for replacement positions
  • Reduce turnover in each department by ensuring we hire the right people the first time
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
  • Meet with internal hiring managers for new position intake
  • Constantly update internal hiring managers on the status of their openings
  • Track and report personnel related statistics
  • Work with internal and temporary employees to drive referrals
  • Use non-traditional and creative recruiting methods to place hard to fill openings
  • Work with management to implement initiatives to drive hiring and employee engagement/experience
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Skillset
  • Bachelor's degree, Preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of full life cycle recruitment experience with a proven track record of consistent performance is required
  • Familiarity with job boards (Indeed and Ziprecruiter), social media recruiting, HR software, databases, and ATS (Paycom preferred)
  • Experience conducting various types of interviews (i.e. phone, video, etc.)
  • Results-oriented mindset (high sense of urgency, determination, tenacity, etc.).
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
  • Attention to detail is mandatory and must demonstrate meticulous organization skills with the ability to work independently
  • Excellent negotiating skills coupled with strong ability to handle objections effectively
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment
