What's The Role
The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for generating and managing revenue opportunities in a given territory. A BDM will work in a true team environment yet have an individual quota to achieve. While working with both the installed base of accounts and developing new business opportunities, A BDM will be interfacing with C-Level Executives, Facility Managers, Operational leadership, and business owners to help understand their operations and strategically position and sell OpenTech's INSOMNIAC™ IoE, self-service kiosks, call center services and other services to help them exceed operational goals. A driven and dynamic BDM could earn between $90k -$150K depending on performance.
What You'll Do
Core duties and responsibilities include the following and other duties as assigned.
- Generate new leads through consistent prospecting
- Develop new relationships and network within the industry
- Manage Territory Accounts and engage Right Party Contacts within defined organizations
- Provide accurate, timely pipeline reports and sales forecasts
- Use OpenTech's CRM system to document all customer interaction
- Travel when needed (4 - 6 times a year)
- Solid understanding of a sales process; prospecting to close
- Professional writing and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to connect with prospects over the phone
- Strong goal setting, time management, and organizational skills
- Obtain continuous feedback from support and customers, bringing the intellectual property back to the product team, and making recommendations on future service offerings

Necessary Tools & Skills
- 3+ years of business to business sales
- College degree preferred
- Stable and successful sales or account management background
