Job Description - Business Development Specialist
Title/Description: Business Development Specialist
Reports to: Director, Business Development (South West) Position: Commission, plus minimum wage base. (OTE of 130k with no cap) Location: Phoenix Metro Area - AZ
Hours: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, flexibility required
Commission: 10% of Gross sale, paid monthly upon received payment from client.
Overall Responsibilities The Business Development Specialist is responsible for driving new business for our Public Wi-Fi Division, with a focus on presenting and closing pre-established product packages. This is a HUNTER role and heavily commission weighted. Please do not apply if you are looking for an Account Management position.

Duties Internal

  • Contribute to internal staff professional development.
  • Coordinate with Director, Business Development South West Region to ensure quarterly goals are being met.
  • Contribute to actively marketing and increasing company profile.
  • Maintain and continually evaluate effectiveness of AMI sales process.

External

  • Consult with clients and present Public Wi-Fi packages.
  • Present advertising bundles to local merchants for banner advertising within the Wi-Fi network.
  • Build strategic and key business relationships.
  • Actively implement and follow the AMI sales process to attract and retain new & existing clients.

Skills/Qualifications/Knowledge required

  • Sales Experience preferred.
  • Experience with Sales Force CRM would be beneficial.
  • Project management experience would be advantageous.
  • Basic knowledge of PC hardware and software.

  • An ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to work additional hours and weekends when necessary.
