Job description

Afni is hiring an HR Consultant who collaborates with business partners to drive organizational results through an engaged workforce. The incumbent serves as an employee champion and change ambassador, providing guidance regarding HR policy and administration, employee relations, and change management. The incumbent also serves as a consultant, providing performance management guidance to their business partners through coaching, career development, counseling and disciplinary actions. *Position is 100% virtual.*

What you will be doing:

  • Drive business results via engaged employees. Initiate survey action planning to increase engagement, productivity, and retention while improving customer service. Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships and build morale. Partner with HR peers to drive collaboration and consistency across all sites. Maintain and coordinate employee recognition programs.
  • Monitor and maintain HRIS records including processing for new hires, separations and status changes. Conduct new hire orientations, employee focus groups & feedback sessions and exit interviews. Create and audit employee relations policy and procedure.
  • Establish credibility and proactively build the respect of management as a strategic partner. Maintain a focus on ROI, metrics and strategic planning to impact current and future business success. Influence business decisions that contribute to customer satisfaction and employee engagement through data analytics and business acumen.
  • Facilitate the internal requisition process for non-agent positions. Provide periodic support to Talent Acquisition during critical needs hiring. Onboard internal non-agent talent and assists with career development. Engage in workforce planning to identify talent pipeline. Work with leadership and HRM regarding development recommendations.
  • Partner with operations to administer performance management including process/document review and data analysis to ensure consistency. Respond to employee relations issues including employee complaints, harassment allegations, and civil rights complaints. Conduct and document employee investigations including next steps and recommended actions.


Job Requirements:

What you will need:

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience. Bachelor's degree with emphasis in human resources studies preferred.
  • Three to five years of human resources or other relevant experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office 365. HRIS and corresponding applicant tracking system experience a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Tailors communication to audience needs.
  • Ability to self-direct and handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
  • Strong organization skills and the ability to pay attention to detail.
  • Keeps business partners informed of status and progress.
  • Seeks collaborative solutions to address organizational needs.
