Summary:
Advisor Group's Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO), comprised of Program and Project Managers and Project Coordinators, is looking for a Portfolio Manager to join the team. Reporting to the EPMO Senior Vice President, the Portfolio Manager will play a vital role in portfolio reporting, development and adherence of standards and overall improvements across the department. This role will work closely with the SVP on oversight over multiple portfolios, including managing resource allocation, timelines, dependences and linkages across the initiatives.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for portfolio-level reporting within the EPMO team, inclusive of all programs and projects across the enterprise. Work product to include roll-up reporting, highlighting of key risks and decisions, overall project health, upcoming critical communications and key interactions between the programs and projects.
- Roll-up of all portfolio financials for all programs and projects, to include highlighting of major variances to budget, key risk areas and future funding needs.
- Responsible for EPMO standards for reporting and tracking the programs and projects across the EPMO, inclusive of refreshing current standards and development new standards with the goal of driving consistency and adherence to the standards within the team. Standards may include templates, definitions, best practices and educational materials.
- Conducting EPMO standards audits across the portfolio to ensure adherence to established standards, working to correct issues, provide education and awareness, and drive accountability.
- Maintenance of EPMO intranet site which includes key information for internal stakeholders on programs and projects within the portfolio.
- Manage timelines, linkages and dependencies across the projects and programs in the portfolio, and resolve or escalate conflicts.
- Assist the SVP in development of presentation materials for Executive Leaders.
- Serve as additional support to projects needing attention to assess and help identify plans to move projects from yellow/red to green.
- Manage portfolio coordinator.
- As capacity permits, will serve as Project Manager for assigned projects.
- All other duties as assigned
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred, H.S. Diploma or GED certificate + Significant Practical Experience will be considered
Basic Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience as a project manager in a multi-disciplinary environment
- High level of expertise with Microsoft Office (including MS Project, Teams)
- Excellent communication, facilitation and organizational skills
- Team player with demonstrated ability to proactively identify issues and to influence key project decisions to achieve desired outcomes
- Ability to interact with all levels of the organization in both technical and business areas successfully
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
Preferred Requirements:
- PMP Certification
- Scrum Master
- Proven experience with process reengineering or business transformation
- Work experience in the financial services sector
