Job Title: Advertising Sales Representative
ImagesAZ magazine is a regional lifestyle magazine which positively reflects living in the North Valley of Phoenix and the North Scottsdale, Cave Creek and Carefree region. We distribute 50,000 magazines into three regions: 18,500 to North Scottsdale, Carefree and Cave Creek region 15,000 to Grayhawk, DC Ranch and North Scottsdale region and 16,500 to Tramonto, Anthem, Desert Hills and New River region. ImagesAZ magazines connect with the residents on a personal level by telling human interest stories of triumph, achievement, heartache, and prosperity of their neighbors as well as informing them of what events are happening on the local level. Over the past thirteen years ImagesAZ magazine has become a mainstay in peoples' homes and its arrival is highly anticipated by the people who live within the region.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Responsible for both the internal and external sales of advertising within ImagesAZ magazine.

Demonstrate a complete understanding of all products and services offered by ImagesAZ magazine and show an ability to match particular products to individual clients.

Sell consultatively and make recommendations to clients of the various advertising solutions to fit their needs.

Demonstrate creativity in fitting advertising products to a clients needs.

Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, cold calling to include both face-to-face and calling on business owners through telephone calls, email and direct selling and networking.

Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, meetings, closed sales and follow up activity. Report all such activity to a supervisor at designated meeting times.

Communicate with clients in a timely manner to ensure that all instructions and graphics are obtained so that changes can be made to display advertisements and approved by clients prior to print deadline.

Be available to communicate with clients, publisher and graphics team during magazine production stage.

Assist in the distribution of the magazine to high traffic areas with an interest in the magazine and using this opportunity to explore potential advertising sales opportunities.

Maintain contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

Demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with all individuals who contribute to the success of ImagesAZ magazine.

Build trust, value others, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity.

Attend Chamber of Commerce meetings and other networking events and interact with fellow members in a manner that reflects positively on ImagesAZ magazine.

Follow up with clients in a manner that is congruent with ImagesAZ reputation i.e. Thank You Cards, etc.

Demonstrate a level of professionalism and pride in one's personal appearance and that of the work place.

Continue to uphold ImagesAZ magazine's reputation of outstanding business practices.

Base Salary plus Commission
This position is base salary plus commission. We are looking for a commission-oriented individual. ImagesAZ magazine is a fun and exciting place to work.
