Job description

The Sr. Financial Analyst role is a high-profile position requiring you to be at the forefront of company reporting and analytics. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping in maximizing the financial growth, profitability and development of the organization. The Sr. Financial Analyst core responsibilities are:

• Actively participate in the continued advancement of Reporting, Budgeting, Forecasting, Operating Planning for the entire enterprise.
• Prepare commentary and deep analysis for Management and BOD audience highlighting performance, trends and anomalies.
• Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, cash flow, and capital expenditures
• Maintain complex financial models that generate output that supports key decision-makers throughout the company
• Build an analytical model to measure and forecast performance, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance, and identify problems and opportunities within the company and ultimately provide solutions that help achieve the business' goals.
• Master Planful EPM software to advance the company's financial acumen and to drive fact based action.
• Hands on player for financial planning and analysis of the organization

PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 5 years of experience

Developing and managing detailed business analysis models for every level of the organization. Lead key FP&A functions of reporting, analysis, budgeting and forecasting.

• Building and managing key business model(s) in Excel and Planful.
• Power user of EPM & data warehouse systems.
• Support and guide internal forecasting, budgeting by working with key stakeholders to meet deadlines.
• Work with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, to identify key performance indicators (KPI's) and to build KPI dashboards in support of the organization.
• Support acquisition work, specifically financial reporting and analysis. Modeling deal and scenario analysis. Ensuring integration playbooks are driving to their financial goals

• Must have the ability to work closely with partners, at all levels, across the organization, having structured business knowledge that allows them to meet business needs.
• Should have a proven aptitude for finance and accounting along with strong analytical skills, business acumen and ability to forecast financial scenarios.
• Should be well organized with excellent planning skills.
• Strong communication/interpersonal skills, and ability to resolve problems and manage multiple priorities and tasks.
• Proven and demonstrable track record of advanced impact on business operations through performance analysis and change management.

ESSENTIAL JOB SKILLS

• Advanced Excel modeling skills
• A self-starter, able to identify issues and roadblock and takes initiative in communicating and resolving issues within their area of responsibility.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP & standard financial statements including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Statement of Cash Flows
• Must be a strong team player with advanced interpersonal skills and thrive in a close knit team environment.
• Ability to adjust in a fast-paced environment and to manage competing deadlines.

COMPUTER SKILLS

· Excel, Word and PowerPoint, Power BI / SSRS, accounting software, EPM skills and experience
