Job description

Overview

Provide support to the Human Resources team by employees with various needs to help create a positive experience.

Responsibilities

  • Review and process terminations working with appropriate Site Manager or Human Resources
  • Coordinator regarding any outstanding information required for processing
  • Review and process LOA/PTO requests working with appropriate Human Resources Coordinator to obtain necessary paperwork and site level approvals
  • Review and process FMLA requests working with appropriate Human Resources Coordinator to obtain necessary medical documentation
  • Document all FMLA related attendance events
  • Assist in processing and manage all Workers Compensation claims for site
  • Assist in the research and compilation of employee documentation for legal requests/claims
  • Manage access badge requests, deletions, and replacements
  • Prepare documentation for unemployment claims and appeals. Attend corresponding hearings as necessary
  • Assist Benefit departments with support related functions
  • Complete Employment Verification requests as necessary
  • Conduct employee exit interviews
  • Provide support for other HR functions as required and requested by supervisor or other management

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Entry Level - Some Admin/HR experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows, Internet, and Outlook required
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and handle numerous tasks simultaneously
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are a must
  • Time management skills are imperative
  • Must possess a positive and upbeat attitude
  • Must maintain the highest level of confidentiality
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Position requires flexible availability and must be able to adjust schedule as needed based on business needs
  • Must be prompt and dependable.
  • Must pass mandatory background checks which may include pre-screenings, illegal drug tests, and credit checks
