Job description
THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Director of Talent and Organizational Development drives organizational development solutions focused on increasing organizational effectiveness, increasing the Company's competitive advantage to accelerate growth. Acts as trusted liaison and advisor to the Company's leadership team and facilitates initiatives across the Company. Identifies, develops and successfully implements effective talent development programs, organizational structure design, succession planning and DEI strategies. Provides formal leadership as well as hands-on program management with a focus on continuous improvement. Collaborates to assess functional and leadership training needs and works closely with Learning and Development to provide comprehensive training programs.
The Role:
- Understand and support the strategic vision of the organization - assess, propose and drive programs to support organizational development, employee career development, leadership development, succession planning, and other related programs.
- As a trusted advisor, provides strategic guidance to leaders on how to plan and scale their teams effectively to support the rapid growth of the organization.
- Actively manage, mentor and coach talent and team members with a leading vision by inspiring and encouraging continued growth and development, guiding others to stretch beyond self-imposed limitations with new perspectives.
- Proactively consult and partner with HR Directors and business leaders to shape strategy and manage change management efforts through impact analysis, key stakeholder identification, communications planning, leadership coaching, and thought partnership.
- Conduct organization needs assessments to identify opportunities and build functional roadmaps that support career development programs.
- Collaborate with Learning and Development to design and deliver innovative tools, engaging learning, change and leadership development experiences from core curriculum to function-specific programs.
- Collaborate with HR Directors and Leaders to identify skills required for current and future success and create programs that enable leaders to develop talent.
- Own company performance management processes and tools related to 360 feedback, leadership and talent development, succession planning, employee engagement.
- Drive continuous process improvement to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify, develop, and manage toward a set of KPIs to measure efficacy of talent management and leadership development strategies and processes; use data to drive continuous improvement of programs and processes
You'll Bring:
- 10+ years experience in Talent Management, Organizational Development or a related field with strong focus on leadership development and developing OD initiatives
- Experience utilizing multiple principles, tools and delivery methods within the following disciplines: organizational effectiveness, change leadership, organizational design, and learning and development
- Bachelor's degree in a related area such as Organizational Development or I/O Psychology
- Strategic and analytical mindset; superior problem solving skills with a focus on simplification
- Exceptional ability to consult and collaborate with HR Directors and senior business leaders on business strategy, organizational design and talent optimization
- Ability to influence, adapt and lead through ambiguity and change in a dynamic growth environment
- Results-oriented and focused on inspiring the organization to focus on continuous improvements that positively impact the organization
- Highly organized and able to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously; detail oriented
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, presentation and facilitation skills
