Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-orientedBusinessAnalyst/Customer Liaisontosupportthe Food and Drug Administration(FDA)'s National Center for Toxicological Research (NCTR) located in Jefferson, Arkansas.You will support Data Center operations and cloud-modernization efforts and focus on helping the technical team understand the needs of FDA's internal "customers" - meaning the FDA Centers, Offices, and Divisions with unique technology support needs, modernization requirements, and hosting requirements.
This role is primarily focused on understanding and documenting requirements and requires that love to dig in and bring business and technical people together to solve problems. Prior experience as a Project Coordinator, Customer Service Representative, Sales Engineer, or Business Analyst is all useful; we recognize that tech-savvy communicators do not have a single career progression.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Deepunderstanding ofNCTR's technology needsandData Center and cloud-hosting teamcontributions to efficiently support the customer's needs in terms of expectations, priorities, and responsibilities.
- Coordinate the communication, clarification, and progress-tracking of NCTR's infrastructure and application requirements to Data Center teams
- Ensure compliance with NCTR expectations, SLAs, and quality assurance measures for Data Center services
- Coordinate architecture/engineering, requirements elicitation, system improvement planning and review events - including change-control board (CCB) sessions and governance review
- Lead status, progress, and risk/issue analysis reporting sessions and deliverables for NCTR staff on work underway or planned by Data Center teams
- Serve as a point of escalation for support tickets,asneeded
Basic Qualifications:
- A minimum of (5) five-years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of FDA NCTR operationalprocesses, suchas participation in interdisciplinary toxicology research, translational efforts, or policy-development activities in government, academia, or industry
- Experience with developing technology requirements, whether as a business analyst, with engineering models (UML/sysML), or agile process support (stories/backlogs)
- Experience (at a broad, but high-level) with Data Center operations, including infrastructure, networking requirements, performance metrics, etc.
PreferredQualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree
- Experience with major FDA NCTR programs and systems,such as,ArrayTrack,dbPGxEMP,dnAQET, EADB, EDKB,FDALabel, LTKB, MAQC,NCTRlcdb, etc.
- Experience in cloud migration best practices
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Tier 2 (moderate risk public trust) background investigation
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
