Job Summary:

Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for performing a variety of routine tasks to facilitate the recruiting efforts of the recruiting team.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

* Edit and maintain job postings.
* Ensure hiring procedures are compliant with law (state and federal).
* Ensure recruiting procedures are compliant with company policy.
* Follow up with prospects and invite them to apply/answer questions about J.B. Hunt. • Inform job applicants of position details.
* Initiate and facilitate pre-employment process (e.g. Background screening and Drug Screening).
* Other recruiting support as needed.
* Schedule orientation information for candidates and prepare new hires for their first day.
* Schedule travel for candidates.
* Greet and escort candidates to interviews as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or GED with 2-3 years combination of education, experience and training.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Associates degree in Business Administration/Management, or related field, with 1-2 years combination of education, experience and training
* Ability to act professionally
* Ability to communicate verbally effectively
* Ability to maintain confidentiality
* Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities
* Ability to multi-task
* Ability to pay attention to detail
* Ability to quickly learn technical knowledge

Education:

Associates: Business Administration/Management, Associates: Business Communications, Associates: Psychology, GED (Required), High School (Required)
