Primary Functions: This position is responsible for cash application, processing credit card payments, maintaining cash related documentation, researching unidentified payments, customer accounting issue site tickets, refunds, spreadsheets, claims and other projects. Basic Qualifications: A highly effective Cash Applications Specialist will have a general knowledge of accounting and book keeping practices and be familiar with working on ledgers, journals and other accounting tools. The Cash Applications Specialist is able to proficiently use the Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel) and related accounting software platforms. Position Responsibilities: Daily cash application. Customer accounting, issues site tickets, refunds, spreadsheet use. Research unidentified payments for solutions. Maintain cash related documentation. Maintain daily/monthly cash balance sheet. Education and/or Experience Qualifications: High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; e.g. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc.,. 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
