The Licensing Compliance Coordinator supports company compliance with local licensing codes and ordinances related to Property Management, Rental Registration, Inspections, and New Construction/Development activity. This position interacts with various external business entities such as: City, Village, County, and Assessor personnel in almost 15,000 jurisdictions plus coordinates activity across several internal departments to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

* Performs on-line and telephone research to determine jurisdiction and ensure compliance regarding business licensing codes and ordinances. Documents findings.
* Maintains valid rental property and management licenses by managing an assigned portfolio. Prepares, processes and remits new and renewal applications and payment timely.
* Coordinates with Property Manager, HOA City Code Violation team, Maintenance team, other internal teams and jurisdiction personnel to ensure rental/occupancy inspections pass and payments are made.
* Accurately enters information in CRM Registration Module, Yardi and SharePoint databases for status of all property, owner, and Property Manager jurisdiction requirements and business license registrations.
* Maintains Arizona Transaction Privilege Tax (TPT) licenses & renewals for Rental and New Construction activity. Coordinates with the Sales & Use Tax team, as necessary.

Requirements

* Associates or BS in Business Management, Business Administration, Accounting or related field preferred, or Two plus years of experience working in a Licensing and/or Tax environment using Research and Analysis methods required.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required, (Teams) preferred.
* Working knowledge of SharePoint, Yardi Voyager and/or CRM Dynamics preferred.
* Notary License a plus.
* Detail oriented and thorough.
* Excellent organizational skills and follow-up.
* Ability to communicate effectively (strong written and verbal communication skills).
* Handle multiple projects simultaneously.
* Ability to be an effective member of project teams.
* Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
