POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a contract recruiter to partner with our growing Talent Acquisition team. As a recruiter you understand how to effectively partner with hiring managers. You have a successful track record of building pipelines of diverse qualified talent across the organization. You will be responsible for full cycle recruiting, sourcing passive talent, and delivering great customer service to your hiring managers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

These may include but are not limited to:

* Partners with hiring managers to drive all aspects of the full-cycle recruitment process.
* Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build candidate pipeline for openings.
* Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and performing phone screens.
* Design, post and manage job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements.
* Ensures a high level of candidate engagement and positive candidate experience.
* Drives and influences the candidate assessment and selection process with the hiring team.
* Anticipates and proactively communicates recruiting activity and status to Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition and the Hiring Manager(s)
* Leverages technology and tools to maximize candidate quality and personal productivity.
* Negotiate wage rates and other terms of employment with candidates.
* Manage the content of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for assigned positions.
* Work and collaborate with internal teams to understand hiring needs and job specifications.
* Meet or exceed daily and weekly activity metrics and objectives as set by manager.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

* Minimum of 3 years full cycle recruiting in the life science industry.
* Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to self-motivate and make decisions independently.
* Flexible in responding to unanticipated situations.
* Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse cultures.

Software Knowledge: Windows, MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of Paycor Recruiting or other similar ATS.

EFFORT REQUIRED/ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

Physical Activities: On a continuous basis, sit at desk for a long period of time; intermittently answer telephone and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means. Some walking and lifting up to 20 lbs. may be required. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
