Job description

Column is looking to hire a full-time Senior Recruiter to join our People Operations team as our second talent acquisition hire. The Senior Recruiter will report directly to our People Operations Lead and should be jazzed about designing a recruiting process that predictably places wildly talented people from around the globe into open roles at Column. You will be responsible for overseeing full lifecycle recruitment for all requisitions across growth, customer experience, product, software engineering, and design roles.

What You'll Do

  • First Week: You will learn about Column's mission and vision, seek to understand our existing hiring process, and begin a listening tour to meet all hiring managers. We're a small company that's growing quickly, so interpersonal rapport is essential.
  • First Month: You will write custom email coordination templates and implement Goodtime - an interview scheduling software - to personalize the candidate experience while streamlining scheduling. You will become well-versed with our applicant tracking system, Greenhouse. You will officially takeover pipeline and candidate management for all open roles - let's get hiring!
  • First Six Months: You will work with hiring managers to craft ideal candidate profiles and partner with a technical sourcer to fill pipelines with top-talent from diverse backgrounds. You will coordinate and conduct interviews and implement process improvements to improve KPIs like time-to-hire.
  • First Year: You will be a critical piece of the success story of a rapidly growing tech start-up that believes we have the potential to be a once in a generation company.

  • You use metrics and feedback surveys to continuously tweak and improve the hiring process for all parties involved

Compensation and Benefits
Column is built on the belief that important information should be accessible to the public. As such, we work hard to model this behavior for potential Columnists by including our base compensation in all job descriptions and making our full benefits accessible online.

  • Base salary of $84,000 - $150,000 per year commensurate with experience, plus a meaningful equity stake and 401k plan
