Performs a combination of manual and clerical duties to receive, store, and issue equipment, materials, and supplies in a central warehouse. Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications and invoices; stores articles according to identifying factors; fills orders or issues supplies from stock; requisitions stock to fill incoming orders; and prepares stock use reports. Determines methods or places for storage considering guidelines for temperature, humidity, weight or height limits, turnover, floor loading capacity, and required space. Will work in a warehouse team environment that will include Northrop Grumman and U.S. Government employees.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED and at least 4 years relevant experience in a stockroom, warehouse, or manufacturing setting
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be able to work standing up for extended periods of time
Must possess a valid state issued driver's license with ability to maintain
Must have an active DoD Security Clearance with an investigation date performed within the last 5 years
Must be able to obtain Special Program Access clearance within 365 days from date of submission; Special Program Access required to start
Familiar with data entry proficiency using warehouse management databases
Able to maintain records and provide traceability of materials
Ability to receive material, inspect and verify for accuracy and determine best storage practices for warehouse environment
Experience with and be comfortable operating forklifts
Must be willing to work on-site at Edwards AFB in a flight line environment
Must be willing to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 8 years' experience in a warehouse / stock room environment
Experience with warehouse management software databases
Prior stockroom / warehousing experience
Experience with shipping and receiving processes and operations in a warehouse setting
Experience with repairable processes and procedures
Air Force flight line experience / qualifications
Forklift & Hazmat experience with relevant qualifications.
Salary Range: 44963 - 74938
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
