The Opportunity
As a Recruiting Coordinator, you will report directly to the Head of Recruiting. You will source and coordinate be part of the initial team to grow the business from a startup into a major player in the space industry. You will draw on extensive knowledge of coordinating and sourcing to forge dynamic relationships with the People & Recruiting team and hiring managers. You have a reputation for being forward thinking and organized. This position has the ability to grow into a full-cycle recruiter. In either G&A or technology.
You will truly enjoy what you do, be flexible and communicative. This role will report to the Head of Recruiting with extensive cross-functional interaction with People team and CPO.
How You'll Fulfill Your Mission
* Partner: work with the Head of Recruiting to make sure schedule and sourcing is done to the highest of standards.
* Build: Build a system that will allow you to keep track of your candidate scheduling and sourcing.
* Impress: create first-in-class experiences for both candidate and business through high touch engagement that exemplifies Astra's employee experience (i.e. values and culture); maintain professionalism at all costs.
* Strategize: create structured and concise documentation, including onsite invitations and travel arrangements.
* Up-level: develop the ability to multitask to schedule candidates and help source diverse talent

* Manage facilitator and coordinator rotations

* Facilitate Candidate Review sessions where needed
* Create and facilitate coordinator training sessions
* Assist with facilitator and quorum training sessions
* Track and report on Candidate Review metrics including packet volume
* Work cross-functionally with People & Recruiting
* Work in tandem with the Head of Recruiting to maintain consistency within the People & Recruiting team
* Scheduling and management of training courses and materials
* Wiki Maintenance
Preferred Qualifications
* Relationship building and customer service skills
* Experience working in a fast-paced environment and deal with ambiguity & frequent change
* Ability to accommodate occasional travel as needed (10%)
* 2+ years recruiting coordinator, sourcing, project management, or program management experience
strategic, analytical, and problem solving skills
* Working knowledge of Lever ATS
* Time management experience and experience working independently with minimum supervision
* Proficient with Microsoft office tools & experience working with data
ITAR Requirements: This position requires compliance with U.S. Government space technology trade restrictions, specifically the International Trafficking in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and additional regulations governing satellite, launch vehicle, missile, and other related technologies. All jobs restricted by these regulations will be contingent upon the applicant's status as a documented U.S. Person or their ability to receive a trade license from the cognizant government agency; in addition to any required company background checks and in compliance with applicable U.S. and California laws. Similarly, positions requiring the ability to work on government contracts or a security clearance are also contingent upon the applicants ability to receive the appropriate clearance and be allowed to work on U.S. government contracts.
