Business Development Specialist:
Electronic Security Design & Installation, ATM Banking Construction & Safe Relocation, Engineering & CAD Services - Anaheim, CA.
KESA is a well-established company of 18 years who is currently seeking a Business Development Specialist to join our Electronic Security Division. The BDS should have five plus years of work experience including closing deals in business development sales and/or sales support in the physical electronic security industry within the banking industry. Vertical markets will be taken into consideration. The BDS must have a professional attitude, appearance & passion for their profession. The candidate will also be responsible for the design and implementation of the marketing and sales programs for the department. The BDS must have succinct written and verbal communication skills and a high level of attention to detail. Swift communication & document processing is essential. The candidate will be supported and/or trained by a dynamic, experienced technical support team. This position reports directly to the Security Systems Manager. We are also willing to consider senior security alarm technicians and/or project managers who are willing to explore a change of career within the electronic security industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Identify Sales Trends & Key Opportunities for Innovation, Sales & Design
- Develop New Revenue Generating Business Opportunities in Current & Vertical Markets
- Maintain a Current/Active Marketing Database
- Collaborate with The Electronic Security Manager & The Board of Directors
- Update and Manage Social Media Accounts
- Attend & Participate in Trade Shows
- Maintain Excellent Customer Relations
- Sell & Upsell to Existing Customers
- Develop & Sell Service Maintenance Contracts & other Recurring Revenue Agreements
- Compose Scopes of Work (SOW), Create Bill of Materials (BOM), Write Sales Purchase Orders, Write Detailed Proposals & Sketch Diagrams
- Support the Electronic Security Team as an Active Team Player
REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related fields. Preferred but not necessary
- Formal Project Management Training & Security Alarm Certifications. Preferred but not necessary
- Familiar with Customer Relationship Management platforms (CRM)
- Competency in Microsoft Applications Including Word, Excel & Outlook
- Effective Written & Verbal Communication Skills
- A High Level of Attention to Detail & Critical Timelines
- Ability to Work Effectively Within a Quick Pace Independent & Team Environment
- Thorough Communication with Customers, Management & Technicians
- Active References
- The Ability to be Flexible with Your Work Schedule
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms
- Project Management Certification
- Alarm System Certifications
- Active California Driver's License
- Reliable Transportation
- Ability to Pass a Security Background Check
- Ability to Pass a Drug Screening Test
