We are currently seeking an AP Assistant/Payroll Clerk in Bakersfield CA!

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the AP Specialists
  • Handle and track time cards
  • Interprets company policies and government regulations affecting payroll procedures.
  • Input data from time sheets, productions records, or individual timecards to computerized payroll system
  • Contact various department supervisors for any missed or incorrect time submitted for payroll.
  • Build and run payroll reports as needed

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 1-3 years of related experience in Payroll and/or Track
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft programs: Excel, Access, Word and Outlook
  • Must have a solid customer service orientation, accuracy, mathematical reasoning skills, good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good work ethic and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, with shifting priorities in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision on most projects or tasks
  • Strong interpersonal skills to influence and communicate effectively with all levels of personnel
  • Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills
  • Must be detail-oriented and have strong proof-reading skills

Pay: $16-$18/hr. DOE
