As a Application Support Analyst is responsible to ensure the application is meeting the needs of the organization including user provisioning, updates, configurations, operational support and maintenance of ERP systems software and related infrastructure.
Provides one-on-one, phone and emailed based support handling complaints and assessing problems of application users. Proactively identifies opportunities for change or improvements to avoid problems in the first place and recommends changes to facilitate those improvements.
This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation with the infrastructure and is responsible for ensuring that system hardware, operating systems, application software, and related procedures adhere to policy.
This role serves as an important first level liaison between the business application community and Information Technology (I.T.). Works with limited supervision on regular report and maintenance tasks related primarily, but not limited to the ERP system.

- Use helpdesk ticketing system to rapidly resolve reported issues, engage with end users or escalate to vendor ticketing system
- Provide point and click administration of ERP platform and supporting services
- Ensure proper ERP user setup, update permissions and role groups
- Work collaboratively on continuous improvement opportunities
- Reproduce and document reported issues, perform testing of software
- Work with infrastructure team in deployment of software updates
- Maintain and develop support documentation and end-user communication
- Work directly with ERP software supplier as needed
Required Skills:
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and customer service skills
- Must be detail oriented and thorough on issue diagnosis and resolution
- Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to summarize and present solutions/issues
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests
- Work well as a team member as well as independently
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Vision
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
General Direction: receive very general guidance with respect to overall objectives; work is usually quite independent of others; operate within division or department policy guidelines using independent judgment in achieving assigned objectives.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collects data, establishes facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
No specific certifications are required for the Application Support Analyst position however various I.T. related certifications will be essential.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly. The position requires racking server equipment in our data center and field sites. Sedentary physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative nature.

Work Schedule:
The work schedule is Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm, with on call evenings and weekends as needed.
