Job description
CCA is a quantitatively driven, independent Registered Investment Adviser (RIA) looking for a Software Developer to join our small, but highly talented and experienced team. You will collaborate directly with our senior Data Scientists and Head of Engineering to implement internally facing tools and processes to support our various investment strategies. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively on self-directed and group projects, and the willingness to wear multiple hats and contribute in a variety of ways to the needs of the team.
Primary Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain tools to support our core asset trading and portfolio analysis processes
· Develop tools to analyze new investment strategies and expand our robust simulation tools
· Assist in development of tools to streamline the creation of data association mappings between disparate data sets
· Research new data source possibilities and test the integration of the new sources with our existing tools
· Support team needs with ad hoc data research
Technical Skills (Must Have)
· C# / .Net development and/or Python development experience
· Experience in data management and data validation
· Ability to work effectively with independence on a self-directed project
· Comfortable learning new skills and technologies
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
Technical Skills (Like to Have)
· Linux OS / AWS remote server administration / PowerShell
· SQL Database Interface/ MongoDB / PostgreSQL
· HTML/CSS/JavaScript
· Django / Plotly Dash
· .NET Core/ASP.NET MVC / ASP.NET Core MVC / Entity Framework
· Experience in Financial Services industry
Applicable Experience (Must Have)
A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or similar level of education and experience.
Applicable Experience (Like to Have)
3+ years applicable professional experience
