Job description
Position Summary
The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for supporting the organization's business objectives by aggressively sourcing, recruiting, and evaluating candidates for open positions within Oxford Global Resources.
Responsibilities
- Source candidates with various skills and specific profiles as set by hiring managers within the organization
- Activities include direct recruiting; obtaining referrals from candidates; networking with personal and professional contacts; sourcing the Internet and college recruiting
- Research and evaluate recruiting events for attendance by Oxford
- Set up recruiting event activities including job fairs, on campus interviewing and networking events
- Constantly review and offer suggestions on ways to improve recruiting efforts
- Promote and sell the benefits of Oxford to prospective candidates
- Draft flyers and other promotional ideas and ensure all advertising is properly worded, current, and consistent with Oxford's overall marketing strategy
- Propose ideas for locating additional sources of potential candidates to include researching sites on the internet
- Recruit and interview candidates over the telephone and in person to assess skills, experience, availability, ability to perform essential job functions, and compensation requirements
- Ensure candidate's resume is scanned or electronically entered into Oxford Database and all information including contact with candidates is noted and tracked
- Maintain database integrity by ensuring all qualified candidates are submitted into the system
- Set up interviews with hiring managers, confirm appointments and follow-up with managers on interview results
- Ensure all movements of candidates including submittals to managers, interviews, hiring decisions, and starts are tracked in the database
- Develop staffing strategies with Managers, National Operations and Local Market Managers
- Adhere to all procedures as set by Oxford Global Resources and adhere to all regulated government hiring policies
- Input, track, obtain feedback on and maintain current applicant data in applicant tracking system and other databases as instructed
- Other duties as assigned
Additional Responsibilities
Skills
- Must be extremely comfortable making outbound telephone calls
- Must be comfortable making presentation in front of groups ranging from 10-100 people
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills is a must
- Creative, outgoing, energetic person with a demonstrable track record of exceeding goals
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- May be required to work overtime on occasion
- Proven knowledge of MS Office products
Education
Bachelor's Level Degree in Marketing or Public Relations
Experience
- 2+ years of experience in customer service, human resource, or sales
