Credit Administrator (Burbank/Ontario)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
- Complies with and stays abreast of all policies and procedures, federal and state laws applicable to the job.
- Provide, present and promote The Citizens Experience to all external and internal customers.
- Critiques Reports of Credit Extended on loan requests submitted for approval by branch loan officers. Assists the branches/departments in structuring new and renewed loan requests: Personal cash flow analysis and spreadsheets are checked for accuracy and corrected if necessary.
- Approves loans within delegated approval authority or recommends loans for approval exceeding theses limits. Inter-office memos are prepared advising the branches of loan approval conditions or reasons for declines.
- Reviews Repots for Credit Extended for loans approved by the branch for policy or technical deficiencies, loan quality, and assigns an appropriate loan grade. Prepare internal memo's citing policy exceptions or weaknesses found in each loan request.
- Reviews weekly delinquency reports and works diligently with the branches in their collection strategies. Assists Senior Management with seriously delinquent loans and OREO's as required.
- Reviews real estate appraisals and prepares an appraisal review form.
- Reviews customer files that require annual term loan financial statement/tax return updates and recommends loan grade changes if appropriate.
- Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises a team of Credit Officers.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Fifth year college or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
