QA Analyst - Contract - Burbank, CA - $45.00-$47.00/hr

Cognizant is seeking a QA Analyst in Burbank, CA.
Role Description
QA Analyst will work in EDW (Enterprise Data Management) team in Agile environment. QA Analyst will be responsible for all the testing activities for the data systems of the EDW team working directly with business partners developers to design and implement test cases from business requirement execute test cases providing test report etc. The QA Analyst needs to perform QA activities with little supervisory support and working multiple projects in parallel.

Skills & Requirements
• At least 5-7 years of experience in test design and test cases implementation on Enterprise Data projects Enterprise Data Warehouse projects and reports.
• At least 3 years of proven development experience in implement and execution test cases on ETL/Data Integration systems developed on Informatica Power Center Suite.
• Good understanding in database design concepts logical/physical data models.
• At least 3 years of experience on writing medium to complex SQL queries
• Thorough knowledge of SDLC.
• Experience on working on Agile methodology and familiar with JIRA and confluence tools
• Experience in documenting requirements and negotiating commitments
• Possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Proficient in data analysis and problem solving.
• Must develop foster and maintain an open professional relationship with developers IT staff management and business customers.
• Strong Understanding of DW/BI concepts
