We are working with a food and beverage client in the Camarillo area that is looking for a purchasing coordinator to help assist in their daily purchasing functions. We are looking for someone that has some purchasing experience, has great oral and written interpersonal skills, and someone who has intermediate excel skills. This position is located in Camarillo and is looking for someone who is okay going into the office full time. As a purchasing coordinator your main job responsibilities will be to assist the purchasing manager with orders, conduct inventory management, and review and reconcile orders.

Job Responsiblites:

  • Assists Purchasing Managers in placing, following up, and delivery of purchase orders. Must be able to organize, track and effectively communicate any delays, back orders, and discrepancies.
  • Experience in inventory management, building relationships with suppliers and issue resolution.
  • Supports Purchasing team in tracking/communicating product and order concerns, requests involving new and existing products, pricing, and special projects.
  • Review and reconcile supplier/product discrepancies and maintain necessary records.
  • Maintains accurate pricing, price changes/increases and assists team in tracking, communicating changes as appropriate.
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years proven experience in purchasing
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Bachelor degree in related field is a plus
  • Intermediate analytical & problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of business processes and procedures.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve issues and provide innovative solutions.
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic fast-paced work environment and make independent decisions.
  • Excellent both oral and written interpersonal skills
