The company is a sales leader in the health and wellness category on Amazon. We've developed a program that allows us to optimize and grow sales for brands in the health and medical space on Amazon and other marketplaces by partnering with them and using our expertise to leverage their business assets. We are focused on putting healthcare back into the hands of patients by providing the resources and tools necessary to make informed purchasing decisions you can feel confident and happy about.
Position Summary:
We are looking for self-motivated candidates to help us grow our portfolio of brand partnerships. Our Business Development & Marketing Teams work directly with Brands and Manufacturers in the Health, Medical and Wellness space to optimize their e-commerce marketplace strategy, so they can grow it to a leading channel.
This role will report into and work directly with our VP of Business Development and other members of the executive team and will focus on identifying qualified leads and communicating our unique value proposition. The right candidate must be an excellent conversationalist that connects with people, is self-motivated, has a strong desire to contribute to the success of the team, and is able to perform research via the phone/internet. They will be expected to bring an entrepreneurial attitude and to thrive in an independent environment. Experience in, or a strong understanding of, either Amazon selling or the Health and Medical Supplies field, is an asset.

What you'll do:
- Identify, profile, and qualify prospective partners offering.
- Effectively introduce and represent the product and the value proposition.
- Nurture and expand the company's relationship with prospective accounts of various sizes and sub-industries.
- Build the initial sales ecosystem, nurture, and ready leads, move prospects efficiently through the exploratory stage of the cycle, then work closely with our VP of Business Development to prepare and deliver pitch/proposal via conference calls or face-to-face meetings with decision makers.
- Establish and grows a deep, continuous pipeline of leads and prospects. Set qualified appointments weekly.
- Schedule and make daily follow-up calls (call-backs), confirmation calls for scheduled appointments.
- Manage and track customer and transactional information as well as deal progression in a CRM system.
- Provide regular reporting of pipeline and forecast through the CRM system.
- Be familiar and stay current with competition, competitive issues and products in the Amazon selling and Health & Medical industries.
- Practice effective, excellent communication with management, prospects, and colleagues.
- Initiate prospect audits and related research; confirm all information and ensure the highest level of data integrity.
- In time, it is expected that the successful candidate will perform all the responsibilities referenced above and ultimately be empowered to manage all aspects of the sales process.
