Currently, we are seeking a Business Development Representative or Sales Development Representative based in our beautiful Carlsbad office to focus on selling SaaS Fleet solutions within Fleet Management and Transportation & Logistics.

Responsibilities:
This Business Development Representative or Sales Development Representative role is a quota-carrying position that is integral to the success of the overall business plan. You will be responsible for generating leads and then progressing them to qualified opportunities to pass on to the outside sales team.

You will work in collaboration of the various outside sales teams to build out a target list of prospect clients and contacts as part of the overall strategy to open up new logos. Your work will directly be tied to pipeline generation, as well as the ultimate revenue conversion.

In addition, you will engage and promote our working culture of internal collaboration, customer success as guiding principal, and growth mindset.

Some of the tasks you will be focused on include:

Prioritization of the overall territory and corresponding solution sales plays.

Research of accounts including key contacts by title and influence.

Outbound prospecting via phone calls, emailing, and various marketing communication.

Coordination with cross functional teams such as: product management and marketing.

Keep abreast of overall market conditions, competitive landscape, and future direction of Telematics solutions.

Maintain regular updates to pipeline generation and customer contact information through the CRM system.

Qualifications:
Must Haves:

Strong Communication Skills

Ability to work at scale of prospecting via outbound calling, emailing, and various marketing channels

Consultative solution selling skills, including the ability to articulate a value proposition in a clear manner

Exceptional organizational skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Strong Pluses:

Experience using (url removed) (SFDC) CRM

Sales Engagement Platform experience (e.g. Outreach, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn)
