**Microbiology Laboratory Technician, Carlsbad, CA**

Great entry-level position for experience in quality control related testing at a growing biotechnology firm. The successful candidate will assist with environmental monitoring and sterility assurance. Apply today for consideration!

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform bioburden testing under associated guidelines (ISO, USP)

+ Perform sterility testing under USP requirements

+ Perform sterility testing under ISO 11137-2 requirements.

+ Maintain Dose Audit Program

+ Perform Sterilization Validations

+ Compile data for documentation of test procedures, and write and review customer reports.

+ Create, revise, update, and develop SOPs, as needed.

+ Assisting in media preparation and upkeep.

+ Assist in Environmental Monitoring of Laboratory

**Requirements/Qualifications:**

+ Associates' or Bachelors' degree in biological science, microbiology preferred

+ Knowledge of fundamental biology, microbiology, molecular biology, basic lab procedures, and chemical safety issues

+ Computer skills including MS Office and lab documentation

+ Understanding of aseptic and microbiological techniques
