We currently have a full time opening for an Oracle Supply Chain Business Analyst in our Carlsbad, California headquarters. Please note: We are only considering on-site candidates. Remote is not an option.

This position will be responsible for leading and maintaining all Supply Chain related projects and will work closely with business power users, technical development team in configuring Oracle EBS system and defining effective business processes.

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting Supply Chain Operations using Oracle EBS, providing business analysis, configurations, and data analysis.

Additionally, you will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing existing setups and recommend best practices in Oracle EBS.
  • Demonstrate Oracle EBS R12 Functionalities to Business users.
  • Work independently with Supply Chain Team members, Oracle Support and Technical development teams for completing assigned Projects.
  • Develop testing scenarios, conducting CRP sessions and managing tasks/setups related to Production cutover.
  • Review deliverables from external vendors in meeting business requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with diverse team having diverse responsibilities.
  • Work with key stakeholders and cross functional teams to understand data requirements and business needs for various purposes, including integrations with other applications, and translate into technical specifications.
  • Define IT solutions to various business needs and communicate in clear terms to business unit management the IT solution alternatives and assist them in their decision making.
  • Must have good communication and presentation skills as well as planning and Coordination skills


WHAT WE SEEK

  • Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite, end-to-end business processes across O2C, P2P and R2R with working knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite and underlying source data and processes.
  • Strong experience in Warehouse Management with implementation and process related experience in the Procure-to-Pay process with hands on experience in Oracle Order Management, Inventory and Purchasing.
  • Experience modifying and creating Oracle EBS workflows.
  • Advanced SQL experience querying large data sets from multiple sources and developing automated reporting.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to multi-task.
  • Must take direction well, and follow instructions carefully, but also must be comfortable using common sense and personal judgment to help determine the validity of a customer claims.
  • Good written and pleasant verbal communication skills.


OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIRED

  • Bachelors or equivalent work experience in supporting Supply chain.
  • 5+ years of Oracle EBS R12.x Supply Chain functional implementation experience
  • Experience in influencing business partners in making use of Oracle R12 out-of-the box capabilities and following industry standard business processes.
  • Experience with multiple Oracle Operating Units
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite with advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Advanced SQL with PLSQL troubleshooting abilities.

PREFERRED

  • SQL knowledge and ability to extract ad-hoc reports using BI tools.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to read and write, sit, walk within the facility to access file cabinets, documents, stand; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to finger, handle, feel or operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 10 pounds. They also occasionally move objects weighing up to 20 lbs., and sometimes, but rarely, up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Able to work a varied schedule as business dictates
  • Ability to travel by air and car
  • Ability to sit, stand, kneel, etc. for extended periods of time (maximum 5 hours at a time, 10 hours in total/day)
