Staff Accountant


SUMMARY of Duties


  • Responsible for maintaining financial procedures and confirming financial compliance through preparation of a company's reports and statements.
  • Analyze Financials statements for accuracy, including the Balance Sheet and P&L, and determine if accruals and/or reclasses needed.
  • Prepare Financial statements for both the properties and ownership groups to review, including comments regarding any fluctuation to trend on the T12
  • Prepare and file sales and use tax returns and personal property tax returns
  • Process Journal Entries
  • responsible for executing month-end and year-end closings
  • Ability to maintain Financials for 7 properties

Work Experience Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Accounting or a related field
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills, Proficient in Excel, Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, Ability to read and analyze financial reports. Strong interpersonal skills needed due to relationships with property and ownership groups

Educational Qualifications

· Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business administration with a major in Accounting
