Join our exciting Project Management Office as we help steer the projects of our future.
Our PMO is growing like gangbusters as we streamline the way we manage tons of projects all around the company. We're currently searching for an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple simultaneous projects in diverse areas of the business and work with cross-functional departments to manage every stage of a project's life cycle. This is an incredibly exciting time to join our team and this individual will come to the table with technical implementation project experience. Additionally, our ideal candidate will possess outstanding critical-thinking and analytical skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, an outcome-oriented mindset and a flair for creative problem solving on behalf of the company's best interests. The ability to thrive under deadline pressure is also essential. This position will be hybrid, so candidates should be commutable to our Carson headquarters.
A day at Lakeshore looks like this:
• Acting as a liaison between cross-functional teams and vendors-managing complex projects and timelines from inception to completion
• Leading internal meetings and project review sessions, taking notes, and assigning and tracking action items
• Following up with project teams to maintain project momentum and ensure deliverable dates are adhered to
• Interfacing with vendor Project Managers
• Escalating encountered risks with respect to project dependencies
• Providing weekly project updates for all active projects
• Tracking project costs and communicating budget impacts effectively
Qualifications
Got the skills andexperience? Here's what we're looking for:
• Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or 3-5 years of project management experience
• Prior technical implementation experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Outstanding presentation and communication skills
• An organized mind with a talent for problem solving
• Proven ability to think strategically, develop achievable long-term goals and build strong internal partnerships
• Strong quantitative, analytical and critical-thinking skills with superb accuracy and attention to detail
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel (VLOOKUP and pivot tables)
• Ability to work under deadline pressure in a fast-paced setting
