Job description

We are currently searching for a Senior Vice President of Human Resources to serve as a strategic and operational leader-providing top-level guidance for all of our HR functions. In this position, you will partner closely with the executive and senior leadership team to ensure the continued maintenance of Company's positive and productive culture, while developing strategies that support the company's overall mission and goals. You will also ensure that all of Company's policies, procedures and processes are aligned to our strategic business objectives, as well as to all current laws and regulations.

The HR functions under your wing will include talent management, organizational development, employee relations, talent acquisition, onboarding, offboarding, performance management, training and staff development, policy administration, employee data and systems, compensation, and benefits design and administration.

A day at Company looks like this:

  • Providing the overall strategy, leadership and oversight of the HR team to ensure all programs and initiatives are successfully integrated, support our strong company culture, and are aligned with our broader mission, goals and objectives
  • Serving as a high-level, proactive partner to the President/CEO, COO, CPO and other top members of the executive leadership team to align HR functions with business goals and initiatives
  • Providing insight and strategic direction to help the company and our people team continue to grow and scale
  • Leading, managing and developing our efficient and highly competent HR and Talent teams, who serve as valuable partners to the organization's leadership
  • Partnering with DEI leaders to ensure all stages of the employee life cycle are in line with Company's DEI strategy and priorities
  • Providing strategic leadership and change management to ensure the recruitment, engagement and retention of diverse candidates and staff, and to maintain processes that are inclusive and equitable
  • Developing a strategic human capital plan that aligns compensation, professional development, recruitment, employee engagement and retention with the company's objectives and goals
  • Providing thought leadership to drive talent and organizational development, performance management and succession planning
  • Maintaining extensive knowledge of current federal, state and local regulations and requirements regarding employment and other HR issues-understanding their impact, making determinations on their effect on Company employees and practices, and ensuring compliance
  • Partnering with general counsel on employment/legal matters as needed
  • Managing all employee information and data analytics, using information to drive decisions and providing relevant reporting on people stats to internal and external stakeholders
  • Providing change management leadership as Company continues to experience rapid growth
  • Leading employer branding efforts and fostering an internal culture that safeguards the appropriate retention of top talent

Qualifications

Got the skills and experience Here's what we're looking for:

  • 15+ years of relevant HR experience-with 10+ years at the management level as a strategic global leader of people/HR
  • Experience building teams and processes to scale in a high-growth organization
  • Proven track record as a trusted advisor and strategic thought leader
  • In-depth knowledge of all HR functions
  • Hands-on experience with HR systems (HRIS/ATS)
  • Excellent leadership abilities
  • Experience with and knowledge of how human capital drives business goals, paired with the ability to develop and execute a progressive talent strategy
  • Experience with and a talent for analyzing key financial documents and establishing metrics that measure the business performance of HR initiatives
  • Extensive experience with strategic problem solving and leading change
  • Strong business acumen, cross-cultural competence and an ability to influence top decision-makers
