Overview

The Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition is responsible for overall management of the Talent Acquisition function. This position will lead the Talent Acquisition team who support QSC in identifying and bringing on top talent and will also fill roles, primarily those in non-technical disciplines. This individual will also be responsible for leading the organization's recruiting committee; managing talent acquisition resources; monitoring all aspects of talent acquisition and implementing enhancements where there are opportunities for improvement; furthering the organization's D&I goals related to talent acquisition; and working with Marketing on employer branding.

Responsibilities

Lead the talent acquisition team:

* Manage the workload of team members; prioritizing and reassigning as necessary and bringing on external assistance when required to ensure critical positions are filled in a timely manner.
* Manage a full requisition workload, and take the lead for Director and above positions
* Ensure the team is working collaboratively with each other, the broader HR team and other internal stakeholders

Manage resources:

* Implement and manage recruitment processes and employment programs
* Identify and improve bottlenecks in the recruiting process
* Identify and improve the candidate experience
* Lead and manage communications with the recruiting committee
* Develop and manage cost-effective sourcing strategies
* Manage relationships with all outside vendors, including negotiating terms and contract renewals

Other:

* Work with external counsel on the immigration process for candidates and employees
* Partner with Talent Development to develop interview guides/job descriptions
* Assist with employee questions prior to onboarding
* Partner with HR Operations/compensation analyst on benchmarks
* Partner with Marketing and other HR team members on employer branding efforts
* Monitor and report critical recruiting metrics
* Evaluate and measure the effectiveness of talent acquisition systems/programs/processes; design and implement improvements and enhancements
* Monitor candidate, new hire and hiring manager feedback; develop/implement changes to address opportunities for improvement
* Ensure all talent acquisition practices are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Diversity and Inclusion:

* Assess our talent acquisition processes to identify potential barriers to diversity
* Identify potential ways to address barriers with the goal to broaden our candidate pool by pulling from a more diverse candidate pool
* Work with the D&I Council to prioritize and communicate efforts and progress

Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
* 5-7 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting and sourcing with at least 2 years managing a team
* Demonstrated experience in the areas of attracting, recruiting and onboarding talent
* Experience with ATS systems; iCIMS experience a plus
* Employer branding experience is a plus
* Strong process and analytical skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Must possess the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders at all levels
* Personal effectiveness/credibility
* Experience with HR metrics related to talent acquisition
* Must possess the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
