Responsibilities
Reporting to the Talent Acquisition leader, this role will provide administrative and employee support for all areas of HR. This role is responsible for performing a wide variety of administrative and human resources duties, but will primarily focus on recruiting processes.
What You Will Do:
- Ensure that Servicon new hires have a seamless onboarding experience from the moment they've accepted an offer.
- Schedule and prepare for weekly new hire orientations.
- Coordinate background checks, drug screens, employee badging, data submission to client partners, and maintenance of all new hire documents.
- Oversee the new hire orientation process for both field and corporate employees, set-up DocuSign packets, verify documentation, update and distribute orientation materials, facilitate remote and in-person orientations, provide training on company policies, and coordinate with all parties to ensure a successful on-boarding and integration.
- Manage and schedule on-boarding meetings with executive team for all new Corporate employees.
- Communicate pre-adverse and adverse action determinations with candidates.
- Manage logistics and coordination for Employee Development programs such as: managing and scheduling workshops, booking rooms, printing and preparing all materials, sending communications to participants, and setting up conference rooms .
- Monitor the TA/HR fax line.
- Responsible for I-9 processing and I-9 Audits.
- Responsible for Department Invoice Coding.
- Creating and maintaining Employee Profiles in HRIS.
- Respond to State unemployment claims, State disability claims, State and Federal wage garnishments, as needed.
- Participate in rollout of company benefits during open enrollment and respond to employee inquiries.
- Provide a high level of customer service to all employees by answering questions in a timely manner. Escalate questions to the appropriate person as necessary.
- Update compliance requirements and make recommendations of needed action in areas such as EEO, wage and hour law, and a variety of state and federal employment laws and regulations. Provide support for compliance reporting and internal/external audits.
- Implement and support various projects and initiatives to streamline HR processes by setting timelines and schedules, conducting research, analyzing data, making recommendations, and executing projects.
- Assist in maintaining HRIS records and personnel files. Compile, generate, and prepare reports as requested by management.
- Provide general clerical and administrative support (filing, sorting, copying, data entry, etc.) to ensure personnel records and files are maintained in accordance with all applicable laws and company policies.

Qualifications
- 2-3 years of progressive administrative experience, preferably in an HR department.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, both in English/Spanish is required.
- Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, or revelant work experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of HRIS (i.e. UKG, iCIMS, UltiPro, ADP) preferred.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and thrive in a fast paced, demanding environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, strong customer service orientation, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization and with a wide range of clients, individually, and in groups.
- Strong time management and organizational skills with ability to prioritize and work under tight deadlines.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing business demands and execute new direction.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Human Resources file management experience, including maintenance of personnel files, job files, and other HR record keeping requirements is preferred.
- Working knowledge of California state and Federal employment laws/regulations
