Regional HR Manager

Position Overview

The Regional HR Manager will work in partnership with and will support seven regional distribution centers, primarily in the Western US. The ideal candidate will be the expert for all Human Resources policies, procedures, compliance, and administration; will be able to continually push the organization as a whole for a better associate experience; and will explore all avenues to enhance diversity, equality, and inclusion within our culture.

Responsibilities:

* Help to resolve employee complaints/issues and concerns in a timely manner.

* Participate in recruiting, interviewing, evaluating, and assigning staff (plant hourly positions to management positions) to meet the organization's needs.

* Manage Workers' Compensation cases and act as a liaison between injured employees, insurance carriers, and/or Corporate Workers' Compensation Department.

* Maintain in-depth knowledge of DOT laws.

* Train management in all aspects of Affirmative Action on yearly basis.

* Responsible for conformance to Company, State, and Federal Employment Regulations, providing fair and equal opportunity to all employees, and equal administration of company policy for all employees.

* Conduct investigations into misconduct, rules violations, Hotline calls, etc. Document investigation and findings.

* Responsible for policy interpretation and consistent application across all shifts, all facilities.

* Guide leaders in the application and interpretation of corrective action, consistency in the application of policy, etc.

* Oversee the leadership development of Operations Managers, Department Managers, Supervisors, Leads, and Hourly associates.

* Participate in the Interactive Process with associates, when needed.

* Maintain and ensure accuracy of Good Faith Efforts and Accommodation Logs.

* 30 - 40% travel required to various RDC locations.

* Other duties as assigned by the Sr. Human Resources Manager for the RDC.

Requirements:

* 4-year degree required, preferably in I/O Psychology, HR, or related field

* 3+ years of Previous HR Manager/Generalist experience required.

8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM
