RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Dublin, CA that is seeking a Lead Security Business Analyst. Summary: The Security Analyst provides business and technical advice on a wide variety of information security issues, concerns, and problems. The Lead Security Business Analyst is also responsible for making sure that all business applications developed in-house or developed by outsiders on behalf of the company to include adequate control measures. By working on committees and task forces throughout the company, this role diligently assists with the improvement of security of information systems. In this role, the Lead Security Business Analyst is a visible internal spokesperson of the Information Security Department and is charged with gaining widespread support of and compliance with information security policies and procedures. Responsibilities:

• The Lead Security Business Analyst reviews the cost-effectiveness and practicality of existing information security procedures and systems, and makes suggestions for the improvement of these same procedures and systems
• Interprets information security policies, standards, and other requirements in light of specific internal information systems, and assists with the implementation of these and other information security requirements
• Assists with the documentation of information security incidents as well as the analysis of the circumstances enabling or permitting these same incidents to take place
• Provides in-depth technical advice for investigations of information security incidents including internal frauds, hacker break-ins, and system outages
• The Lead Security Business Analyst participates in, and acts as a technical leader in, periodic information systems risk assessments including those associated with the development of new or significantly enhanced business applications

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

• Wide variety of IT Security exp/knowledge; The Lead will be managing around 15 projects at a time and will need to determine which security requirements must be met for the project to go-live
• Candidates qualifying for this position will have similar experience along with the skills and abilities to perform the duties mentioned
• Any relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
