The Financial Analyst is responsible for strategic support on enhancing financial modeling, planning, analysis, and reporting functions and reports to the Director of FP&A. This position will play a key role in quarterly and annual budget and forecast process and will be responsible for a variety of financial duties surrounding analysis and providing financial insights. This includes variance, trend and ratio analysis, and identifying key drivers to support business decisions and growth.

Functions and duties of this role include, but not limited to:

  • Responsible for the Quarterly & Annual Budget Process, Forecast and Reporting.
  • Provide the Budget v Actual Variance Analysis and identify key drivers.
  • Conduct the Financial Ratio and Trend Analysis.
  • Create meaningful and insightful period-end gross profit reports that detail key variances by Customer and Channel.
  • Provide Summary Reports for functional leaders to track spend and burn rate.
  • Support leadership with understanding of performance.
  • Special projects and ad hoc reporting as required.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar field.
  • 2-4 plus years of experience in financial analysis and data management.
  • High level of proficiency with Excel, Pivot tables, Vlookup, Macros, etc.
  • Familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly, to both financial and non-financial audiences.
  • Ability to speak and write concisely and effectively.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills are key personal attributes.
  • The successful candidate will have a reputation for integrity, initiative, perseverance, success, and confidentiality.
  • Must enjoy working in a collaborative and team-oriented environment.
  • Must be comfortable meeting deadlines, and able to prioritize tasks in a highly dynamic environment.
