The Field HR Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR management supporting efforts company-wide. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, training, performance management, on-boarding and orientation, policy implementation, affirmative action and employment law compliance.

Other Duties:

* Provide human resources training to facility leaders and HR Representatives
* Assist with acquisitions and transitioning employees
* Coach and assist management employees in disciplinary matters
* Advise in wage and hour law and other regulatory matters

Qualifications:

* 3-5 years experience in Human Resources, preferably in a generalist role
* Working knowledge of state and federal labor law
* Healthcare experience preferred
* Multi unit HR experience preferred
* PHR or SPHR Certification a plus
* The right candidate will possess an ownership attitude, a high degree of initiative and view no task as too large or too small.
* A highly organized and detail-oriented professional who can work independently, but who also functions as a team member
* A positive, flexible and caring personality who displays good judgment, inspires confidence and handles confidential matters with discretion
* An effective communicator, articulate speaker and trainer, and focused listener who has a pleasant telephone personality
* Adept at MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint with the ability to learn programs quickly

Will travel 75% of the time throughout the market in California, with additional travel to other Markets or the Service Center for meetings or acquisitions.

This full-time, exempt position will be based in California serving San Diego County.
