Job description

Financial aid experience is a must! Looking for someone who has financial aid and a variety of software systems experience. This position requires someone with an accounting background that understands the posting to accounts and recording payment banking and balancing. The position is intermediary between awarding and packaging of different types of funding sources to get the student to have enough money to cover their tuition and fees.

The BO coordinator makes sure the awards are entered so the payments can be received and applied. The BO coordinator receives the payments/records and reports to the bookkeeper/accountant.

With the financial aid experience the employee must understand how it is packaged/processed before it hits their desk so in case something is due to come in they will be able to advise the Financial Department who and where it was missed. The BO has to manage the private loan payments, federal student loan payments and such.

It is the accounts receivable aspects of the business. AP is done solely by the accountant

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
