Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories, a nationally recognized laboratory, is searching for a Laboratory Coordinator to support our Professional Scientific Services group in Fremont, CA.

Laboratory coordinator responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

* Manage and organize the equipment and inventory for a busy analytical QC laboratory
* Perform inventory management including ordering and restocking consumables and chemicals
* Ensure chemicals are properly stored and labeled appropriately
* Manage equipment and pipettes for the laboratory including calibration schedules, use logs, preparing reagents and buffers, and end to end lifecycle documentation.
* Ensure laboratory safety signage, communications, and work orders
* Optimize laboratory inventory and flow through process improvement.
* Ensure Lab is clean, organized, and that area is ready for users to perform testing.
* Generate, review and/or maintain records or documents in a detailed and consistent manner

The ideal candidate would possess:

* Experience in a cGMP, dynamic, fast paced laboratory, coordinating and managing equipment and inventory.
* Experience managing equipment lifecycles in a regulated environment
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral), a strong customer focus, attention to detail, and an ability to interact with various departments and levels.
* Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
* Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
* Associates degree in microbiology, life sciences, or other related degree concentration or directly relevant experience.
* At least 2 years related laboratory experience (microbiology and environmental monitoring in a GMP facility preferred)
* Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Fremont, California are encouraged to apply.
